Xabi Alonso urges Chelsea to pursue Arsenal midfielder Zubimendi
Summary

Xabi Alonso has advised Chelsea to consider signing Arsenal midfielder Martin Zubimendi, whom he has long admired. Alonso previously coached Zubimendi at Real Sociedad B and sees him as a potential addition amidst ongoing squad changes. Zubimendi, 27, has faced reduced favor at Arsenal, missing pivotal matches in the Champions League. As Arsenal moves to secure a new signing in Bruno Guimaraes, the club may be open to offers for Zubimendi, who joined for £51m last summer. Alonso's interest is currently exploratory, as Chelsea contemplates midfield adjustments.
