Xelina honors her late father at the 9/11 Memorial

Former WWE wrestler Xelina, also known as Zelina Vega, marked the 25-year anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks by reflecting on her father, Michael Trinidad. Trinidad was an analyst who worked in the World Trade Center and was among the casualties in 2001. During a recent interview on Busted Open Radio, Xelina discussed the emotional significance of bringing her former WWE Women's United States Championship belt to the 9/11 Memorial. She noted that keeping her father's memory alive remains a personal priority despite the challenges of navigating public life and her own mental health. Xelina won the Women's United States Championship on the April 25, 2025, edition of WWE SmackDown before losing the title to Giulia after a 63-day reign.
