Yankees activate Aaron Judge from injured list for series against Colorado Rockies

The New York Yankees activated outfielder Aaron Judge from the injured list on Monday. He is scheduled to return to the lineup Tuesday as the team hosts the Colorado Rockies. Judge has been sidelined since May 31 due to an injury sustained during a diving catch. The Yankees have recorded a 45-39 record during his absence while averaging 4.06 runs per game. Manager Aaron Boone indicated the team will monitor Judge’s workload closely as he returns without a minor-league rehab assignment. The roster spot became available following a Grade 2 hamstring strain for Trent Grisham.
