Will Warren pitched 5.1 innings with seven strikeouts but surrendered crucial runs, while the Yankees' offense struggled until late in the game. Despite the ninth-inning rally sparked by Jazz Chisholm Jr., a poor outing from the bullpen, including Camilo Doval, allowed the Tigers to score four runs in extra innings. The Yankees have a day off before hosting the Minnesota Twins on July 1.
