Yankees recall Bradley Hanner after optioning Jasson Dominguez to Triple-A

The New York Yankees adjusted their roster Friday morning, optioning outfielder Jasson Dominguez to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The move follows a 10-3 win against the Colorado Rockies and occurs just before a three-game Subway Series opener against the New York Mets. Dominguez returns to the minor leagues after batting.225 with six home runs and 14 RBIs in 57 major league appearances this season. To replace his spot, the team recalled right-handed pitcher Bradley Hanner from Triple-A. Hanner, who previously made three appearances for the club in August with a 6.75 ERA, will provide additional relief depth as the Yankees push through the final weeks of the regular season. The team currently holds an 84-62 record and occupies the first American League Wild Card position while trailing the Tampa Bay Rays by three games in the division standings.
