Zac Bailey signs eight-year contract extension with Brisbane Lions

Summary

Zac Bailey has signed an eight-year contract extension with the Brisbane Lions, keeping the 26-year-old at the club until the end of 2034. The restricted free agent chose to remain in Brisbane despite heavy interest from the Adelaide Crows. Bailey recorded 31 goals across 23 games this season, setting career-high averages in disposals and clearances. The decision arrives ahead of the Lions' upcoming semi-final match against Adelaide at The Gabba on Saturday night.
