Zay Flowers day-to-day after sustaining a quad contusion

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers is day-to-day with a quad contusion following an early exit from practice on August 8. Flowers collided with defensive back Jaylinn Hawkins during a 7-on-7 drill, falling to the ground in pain. Medical staff examined his left leg and knee on the field, but he was able to walk off without assistance. Head coach Jesse Minter does not expect a lengthy absence for Flowers, who recently signed a four-year, $140 million extension. The Ravens are scheduled for another padded practice on Sunday and will host the Eagles for their first preseason game next Saturday.
