Alabama finalizes kicker positions before 2026 season opener

Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer announced the specialists for the upcoming college football season following a competitive camp. Conor Talty will handle field goal attempts and extra points for the Crimson Tide. Talty enters his fourth season with the program and his second consecutive year as the primary field goal kicker. Last year, he converted 16-of-23 field goals and remained perfect on 48 extra point attempts. Transfer Lorcan Quinn joins the roster from Marshall to serve as the primary kickoff specialist. Quinn previously led the Sun Belt conference with 21 made field goals last season. The Crimson Tide begin their 2026 schedule at home on Saturday, Sept. 5, against East Carolina.
