Atlanta Hawks introduce rookie guard Kingston Flemings ahead of season

The Atlanta Hawks prepare for the upcoming NBA season following the addition of guard Kingston Flemings, the eighth overall pick in the 2026 draft. Flemings arrives in Atlanta after a record-setting freshman year at Houston where he became the first freshman in program history to earn consensus second-team All-American honors. During his time with the Cougars, he led the team in scoring, assists, and steals while setting a school freshman scoring record. He gained additional experience this summer during NBA summer league play, where he averaged 10 points and 6.8 assists across four games. Beyond his on-court performance, Flemings is noted for his community involvement, including the Team Flemings Foundation and local youth basketball initiatives in his hometown of San Antonio.
