Boerne Champion defeats Cedar Creek 55-0 in district opener

Boerne Champion moved to 3-0 on the season with a 55-0 win over Cedar Creek during Friday's District 13-5A-I opener at Boerne ISD Stadium. Sophomore quarterback Ryder Flugence led the offensive effort, accounting for 223 total yards and three touchdowns in the first half alone. Running back Caleb Farias added 123 rushing yards and three touchdowns, helping the Chargers build a 41-0 lead by halftime. Boerne Champion finished with a 511-101 edge in total yardage, while the defense maintained a shutout against the Eagles. Reserve players saw significant action during the second half to secure the victory. The Chargers currently hold a 3-0 record, continuing a streak of high-scoring early season wins.
