Butler football defeats New Milford 41-28 to remain unbeaten

Butler improved to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the NJIC Meadowlands Division following a 41-28 victory over New Milford on September 11. The game took place at Charles Hempsted Field. Butler found success on offense early, scoring touchdowns on its first five possessions. The Bulldog defense also contributed points by returning an interception for a touchdown. While the Knights struggled to contain the Butler attack, Kobe St. Hilaire carried the ball 23 times for 166 yards, including a 72-yard touchdown run. The loss drops New Milford to 2-1 on the season. Butler has now maintained an undefeated record through its first three games of the season while extending a multi-season run of success within the NJIC.
