Carter McKay commits to Aurora University for hockey

College SportsAustin Bruins forward Carter McKay has announced his commitment to NCAA Division III Aurora University to continue his hockey and academic career. McKay played ten regular season games with the Bruins, scoring three goals and five assists, and contributed in all ten playoff games. His experience in Austin was described as pivotal for his development, having previously played for the Shreveport Mudbugs and the Melville Millionaires. Aurora's hockey team, a member of the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association, reached the Frozen Four last season before falling to Hamilton.
