Defensive back Rontrae Carter has committed to TCU, choosing the Horned Frogs over several schools including Mississippi State and UNLV. The rising senior from Archbishop Shaw in Louisiana had an impressive high school career, totaling 97 tackles and two interceptions in 2025. He becomes the 18th recruit in TCU's 2027 class and the second safety added, joining Madison Prep’s Landon Johnson. Carter, a multi-sport athlete, visited TCU officially in June.
