Catholic Memorial earns spot in USA TODAY East Region Super 15 rankings

Catholic Memorial, the back-to-back MIAA Division 2 Super Bowl champions, entered the USA TODAY Sports Super 15 East Week 3 rankings at No. 15. The West Roxbury-based team is the only program from Massachusetts or New England represented on the list. Coaches and analysts cited a returning roster that includes three-star junior running back Christian Simmons and four-star sophomore defensive tackle Kennedy Hurte-Jones as key components of the team's standing. Catholic Memorial enters the upcoming season on a four-game winning streak dating back to their 41-14 victory over Bishop Feehan in the 2025 Division 2 title game. The team prepares for two scrimmages against Everett and Central Catholic before opening its regular season on the road against Andover on September 10. The schedule also features non-MIAA matchups against Christian Brothers Academy and Viera later in September.
