CBF finalizes record Copa do Brasil broadcast rights deal

The Brazilian Football Confederation has secured a record-breaking broadcasting rights agreement for the Copa do Brasil and the Supercopa Rei. The deal with Grupo Globo and Amazon covers the 2027 through 2030 cycle for the Copa do Brasil and 2028 through 2031 for the Supercopa Rei. Valued at more than R$ 4 billion, the contract represents an 80% increase in revenue compared to the previous cycle. The partnership aims to nearly double the number of matches available on free-to-air television. As part of the new framework, CBF TV will manage signal production for all matches to ensure a standardized visual identity. The confederation expects these changes to reduce overlapping match times and improve scheduling for viewers.
