Mock drafts suggest the Charlotte Hornets may select Labaron Philon Jr. with the No. 14 pick in the upcoming 2026 NBA Draft. Despite the Hornets' strong guard play last season and a need for frontcourt help, draft expert Jonathan Wasserman projects Philon Jr. as an intriguing choice. The Alabama standout averaged 22 points and five assists per game in his sophomore season, showcasing efficiency with a 39.9% three-point shooting rate. Following this selection, Wasserman anticipates the Hornets may target center Hannes Steinbach with their No. 18 pick.
