Chloe secures spot in upcoming IMG Junior World Championship

Thirteen-year-old golfer Chloe from Leominster has qualified for the IMG Junior World Championship in San Diego, California. The young golfer earned her place by winning the Faldo Futures competition, a tournament featuring approximately 4,000 entrants. After navigating several rounds of qualifying and regional finals, she secured the victory by holing a putt in the final stage. The achievement follows her previous success last year, where she claimed first place in her age category at a junior world championship held in Marbella, Spain. Her father, Lee, noted that Chloe maintains her academic responsibilities alongside her training schedule. He expressed hope that her progression in the sport will encourage other girls in Herefordshire to participate in golf.
