Christina MacKenzie completed the Trans Alba Race in four days, 10 hours, and 52 minutes, establishing a new women's record. The race, which spans over 1,000 miles and includes multiple ferry crossings and significant elevation gain, started in Edinburgh and concluded in South Queensferry. At 49 years old, MacKenzie finished sixth overall and previously held the record for cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats in 2021.
