Clark Lea addresses crowd support for Jared Curtis during Vanderbilt season opener

Berlowitz finished the contest 11-of-16 passing for 149 yards with a rushing touchdown, while Curtis completed 7-of-9 passes for 60 yards and added 22 rushing yards. Lea noted the different styles of the two signal-callers, highlighting Berlowitz's run-heavy approach and the tempo-based offensive strategy employed during Curtis's time on the field. Following the game, Lea addressed the fan support for Curtis, stating that he values the passion of the crowd but maintains that external opinions will not influence his quarterback personnel decisions.
