Clarkstown South shuts out Kennedy Catholic in season opener

Clarkstown South opened its season on September 3 with a 50-0 victory over Kennedy Catholic in West Nyack. The Vikings dominated the contest behind a productive rushing attack that accounted for seven touchdowns. Jaxon Strickland led the scoring effort with three rushing touchdowns, while teammates Landon Van Etten and Jake Beddows each contributed two. The Clarkstown South defense held Kennedy Catholic scoreless and did not allow a single first down throughout the game. Following the win, Clarkstown South moves forward to a home game against Rye on September 10. Kennedy Catholic is scheduled for a bye week before its next contest.
