Clear Fork defeats Lexington 17-7 to secure a 3-0 start

The Clear Fork Colts defeated Lexington 17-7 on Friday, Sept. 4, at the Colt Corral to maintain an undefeated record. Clear Fork relied on a strong defensive effort that prevented any offensive touchdowns from Lexington throughout the game. Trey Sellers reached 100 rushing yards, while quarterback Marcus Hoeflich added 82 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Nash Evans contributed significantly by catching a 37-yard touchdown pass and kicking a field goal and two extra points. Lexington’s only points came on an 85-yard kickoff return by Cam Glennon in the fourth quarter. The victory marks the first time Clear Fork has won all three nonconference games in a season since 2018. Clear Fork prepares to face Ontario next week, while Lexington shifts its focus to the start of Ohio Cardinal Conference play against Dover.
