College football teams unveil new uniforms ahead of 2026 season

As the 2026 college football season approaches, several programs have introduced new uniforms and alternate looks. More than a dozen teams, including Georgia Tech, Nebraska, and New Mexico State, are making changes with the goal of modernizing their appearances. Georgia Tech, now partnered with Under Armour, boasts the most combinations at 12, featuring various colors and inspired designs. Nebraska's updated look faced criticism for moving away from traditional elements like shoulder stripes and opting for a custom font. New Mexico State has also transitioned to Adidas, altering its color scheme. Northwestern's new alternate uniform, dubbed the "Purple Gothics," emphasizes a bold purple color and stylized stripes.
