Collin Sexton shows strong performance for Hornets before trade
Summary

Collin Sexton played well for the Charlotte Hornets during the 2025-26 season, appearing in 42 games before a February trade to the Chicago Bulls. He averaged 14.2 points, 3.7 assists, 1.9 rebounds, and 0.9 steals in 22.3 minutes per game. Sexton shot 48.8% from the field and 39.3% on three-pointers, contributing significantly as a backup point guard. Following the trade for Coby White, the Hornets missed Sexton's hustle and perimeter defense.
