Columbus Fury hire new coach and president ahead of 2027 season

The Columbus Fury have announced a complete overhaul ahead of the 2027 Major League Volleyball season. Following a challenging 2026 season with a 5-23 record, the team has appointed Dave Boos as the new head coach and Eric Schulze as the team president and general manager. Boos, previously with Florida, takes over from Angel Perez, while Schulze comes with extensive experience in volleyball. The Fury will also feature a nearly entirely new roster, with Regan Nelson as the sole returning player from last season. This strategic shift follows the recent ownership change to Andrea Mitchell and Andy Sandler, who acquired the team from an investment group including Joe Burrow's family.
