Creston volleyball falls to Fremont-Mills and Winterset in home triangular

VolleyballCreston hosted a volleyball triangular Thursday, dropping matches to both Fremont-Mills and Winterset. The Panthers opened the night by winning the first set against Fremont-Mills 25-21, but the Knights responded by securing the next two games 25-17 and 15-7. Later in the evening, Creston faced Winterset and lost in straight sets with scores of 25-23 and 25-18. Head coach Naomi Sharp cited a struggle to maintain momentum and difficulties making tactical adjustments as key factors in the losses. During the Winterset match, libero Jensan Tussey anchored the defense with 23 digs before exiting with a leg injury in the final set. Creston hosts Carroll this evening at 7:15 p.m. and continues its schedule Thursday at a triangular in Osceola.
