Kenadie Piña earns Express-News volleyball player of the week honors

Antonian senior libero Kenadie Piña is the Express-News volleyball player of the week following a strong defensive performance. Piña recorded 44 digs during a four-set victory against Harlan, helping push the team record to 29-2. She added 13 digs in a separate sweep against Laredo Alexander. Other standout performances recognized by the publication included Smithson Valley's Brienn Brown, who recorded 18 kills and 14 digs in a five-set win over Madison. Additionally, Clark athlete Addison Darchicourt posted 33 kills and four blocks over two matches, including a 20-kill performance during a five-set loss to Steele. Coaches may submit athlete nominations to the Express-News by noon each Monday.
