Crystal Palace defeats Middlesbrough 3-0 to reach Carabao Cup fourth round

Crystal Palace moved into the fourth round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night following a 3-0 victory over Middlesbrough at Selhurst Park. Jorgen Strand Larsen scored twice, heading in crosses from Oscar Mingueza and Ben Chilwell to put the Premier League side in control. Daichi Kamada added a third goal in the 72nd minute by lifting the ball over goalkeeper Sol Brynn. Despite Middlesbrough controlling periods of possession and creating multiple scoring opportunities throughout the match, the visitors were unable to convert. Both teams made eight changes to their starting lineups for the cup fixture. Crystal Palace now advances to the next stage of the tournament.
