Diomande nears Real Madrid move as Rodri talks stall

Summary

Yan Diomande, the RB Leipzig winger, is close to joining Real Madrid as their fifth summer signing. Personal terms reportedly exceed £100 million, modeled similar to Jude Bellingham’s contract. Current negotiations with Leipzig are ongoing, and PSG has withdrawn from the race after a rejected bid. In parallel, discussions regarding Manchester City's Rodri remain stagnant, with Madrid's interest evolving but no formal talks initiated. The club must first offload players before making any midfield additions, with notable departures expected soon.
