Enrique Freeman signs two-way deal with Minnesota Timberwolves

Enrique Freeman, a former Akron Zips basketball standout, has signed a two-way deal to return to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Freeman, who was a second-round pick in 2024 NBA Draft by the Indiana Pacers, averaged 3.3 points and 2.5 rebounds in four games with the Timberwolves last season. Most of his time was spent in the G League to further his development. The Timberwolves previously enhanced their roster by acquiring LaMelo Ball from the Charlotte Hornets this offseason. Freeman previously played 21 games with the Pacers, recording averages of 2.1 points and 1.4 rebounds.
