Football teams across the region prepare for Friday night nonleague matchups

FootballHigh school football teams across the region head into a slate of nonleague games on Friday night. Lindhurst travels to face Lower Lake at 7 p.m. following a victory over Marysville. Marysville looks for its first win of the season at home against East Nicolaus, which enters the contest undefeated. Wheatland visits Bradshaw Christian in a clash between two programs looking to establish momentum. Yuba City takes its 2-0 record to Destiny Christian Academy for a 7:15 p.m. kickoff. Other programs including Sutter and River Valley are not scheduled to play this evening.
