Former Louisiana State swimmer Kit Hanley joins Potter Sports Group as agent

Kit Hanley has transitioned from a broadcasting role at Fox59/CBS4 to a position as an NIL agent at Potter Sports Group. A former Division I swimmer and team captain at Louisiana State, Hanley will lead the agency’s female athlete division. She intends to assist high school and college athletes in basketball, volleyball, and swimming with recruitment processes and branding opportunities. Her move comes as the Indiana High School Athletic Association recently began allowing students to monetize their name, image and likeness. Hanley, who previously covered athletic events including the U.S. Olympic swimming trials, cited the evolving transfer portal and recruitment as factors in her career shift. She will work under agency founder Jeff Potter, who established the firm in 2016 following his tenure with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
