Fort Meade defeats Tenoroc 14-7 in defensive football game

Fort Meade defeated Tenoroc 14-7 on Friday night at Frank S. Battle Field. The win marks the first victory for Fort Meade this season and keeps the team undefeated against Tenoroc in 12 all-time meetings. Despite committing three fumbles, Fort Meade relied on a strong defensive performance that included an 80-yard interception return for a touchdown by Jaydyn Dennis in the first quarter. Jesus Perez added a 7-yard rushing touchdown with less than two minutes remaining to secure the result. Tenoroc managed to score early on a 3-yard run by Zamarion Smith but struggled to produce offense throughout the remainder of the game, totaling just 30 yards in the second half. Fort Meade finished with 93 yards of total offense, while Tenoroc recorded 113 yards in the loss.
