Grace Community School appoints Mark Anderson as head girls soccer coach

Grace Community School in Tyler, Texas, announced the hiring of Mark Anderson as the head coach for the girls soccer program. Anderson previously served as the school's boys soccer coach from 1995 to 2000, during which time he led the Cougars to a state championship in 1998 and multiple final four appearances. He replaces Chris Hemphill, who is noted as a decorated head coach within the program. The school also hired Emma Jones to serve as an assistant high school coach and lead the middle school soccer program. Jones brings collegiate experience from Louisiana Tech University and coaching background from Ruston High School and the University of Texas at Tyler. Leadership at the school expressed confidence that the new appointments will support the continued development of the student-athletes.
