Grace Efosa joins the Nigeria roster for the 2026 FIBA World Cup

Grace Efosa has been named to the 12-player roster for the Nigeria national basketball team competing in the 2026 FIBA World Cup. The tournament is scheduled to take place from September 4 through September 13 in Berlin, Germany. A standout player during her five-season career at Providence College, Efosa finished with 1,115 career points and earned All-BIG EAST Second Team honors in 2025. She recently played professionally in Turkey and is currently signed with the French club Saint-Amand Hainaut Basket. Nigeria is ranked No. 8 in the world and will compete in Group B alongside Hungary, Korea, and France. The team is set to open tournament play against Korea on September 4 at 8:30 a.m.
