Hawks engage youth with basketball clinics in summer court tour

The Atlanta Hawks Basketball Academy has kicked off its 2026 Community Court Tour, a program designed to reach over 1,600 young athletes across Metro Atlanta. The tour spans eight weeks and focuses on providing free basketball clinics and wellness activities. Participants, aged 5 to 16, can engage with Hawks Youth Development coaches and alumni at various local parks and recreation centers. The initiative aims to promote active living and offer access to quality sports experiences. Each participating child receives Hawks merchandise and can partake in wellness activities supported by CareSource, including nutritious smoothies and hydration resources. The tour is now in its sixth year, having previously served more than 9,000 athletes.
