Jake Diebler hires Jared Sullinger to the Ohio State coaching staff

Ohio State men's basketball coach Jake Diebler has hired former Buckeyes star Jared Sullinger to join the coaching staff. Sullinger will fill a player development role, replacing Nick Kellogg, who is departing the program. A two-time All-American, Sullinger played for Ohio State from 2010 to 2012 before a five-year NBA career and subsequent professional stints overseas. Since leaving the professional ranks, he has remained involved with the program through various capacities, including coaching the Ohio State-affiliated team in The Basketball Tournament. Sullinger joins an staff that includes recent hires William Buford and Dave Dickerson, both of whom have previous ties to the university.
