Jensen Beach extends rivalry football win streak to nine against South Fork

Jensen Beach defeated South Fork 23-3 in a high school football game at Joebud Staggs Stadium on Friday, Sept. 4. The win marks the ninth consecutive victory for Jensen Beach in the series against its crosstown rival. Marcus Rogers recovered a tipped pass in the end zone for the game's opening points, followed by a 5-yard rushing touchdown from quarterback Dre Lott before halftime. Damien Heissenberg added a 37-yard field goal in the third quarter, and linebacker Alex Thornton secured the result with a 77-yard interception return for a touchdown on the game's final play. South Fork struggled to capitalize on scoring opportunities, failing to reach the end zone despite a 33-yard fourth-quarter field goal by Andrew Dawson. Head coach Eric Kresser noted that penalties and turnovers hindered the Bulldogs throughout the contest.
