Kansas State prepares wide receiver Josh Manning for 2026 season

With five days remaining before the 2026 season kickoff, Kansas State officials identified wide receiver Josh Manning as a potential key contributor for the offense. Manning, a transfer from Missouri, arrives in Manhattan with two years of remaining eligibility. Head coach Collin Klein noted the receiver has integrated well with quarterback Avery Johnson since joining the team during the spring. Manning spent the 2025 season at Missouri, where he recorded 29 receptions for 318 yards and two touchdowns. His collegiate career includes experience on both special teams and as a starting receiver during his time in Columbia. He reunites with offensive coordinator Sean Gleeson, who previously worked with him at Missouri.
