Lubbock-Cooper Liberty defeats Midland Greenwood 56-25 at Patriot Stadium

The Lubbock-Cooper Liberty football team improved to 3-0 on Friday with a 56-25 victory over Midland Greenwood at Patriot Stadium. The win served as a response to two consecutive losses against Midland Greenwood over the previous two seasons. Liberty established an early lead, aided by an onside kick recovery, and entered halftime with a 42-8 advantage. Midland Greenwood struggled with three turnovers in Liberty territory during the first half, including a 95-yard interception return for a touchdown by Luke Livingston. Talon Wilcox recorded three rushing touchdowns to lead the Patriots' offensive effort. Lubbock-Cooper Liberty continues its schedule next week with a road game against Canyon West Plains.
