Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy shuts out Catholic-New Iberia 46-0

Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy defeated Catholic-New Iberia 46-0 on Friday, Sept. 11, in New Iberia. The victory marked the first win of the season for the Tigers following an opening week loss to Edna Karr. Running back Keith Guillory led the offense with over 100 rushing yards and three touchdowns, while quarterback Kennan Brown Jr. added a rushing touchdown and nearly 200 passing yards. Although the Panthers' defense recorded three interceptions from Charlie Viator, Bryce Roberts, and Gavin Kading, the team's offense remained scoreless. Catholic-New Iberia now moves to 1-1 on the season and prepares for a road game against Kaplan on Sept. 18. The Tigers look to build on this performance after rebounding from their 0-1 start.
