Nick Khan confirms WWE creative plans for upcoming WrestleMania in Riyadh

It’s seven-months away, and we technically don’t even have the actual dates for WrestleMania 43 yet. That hasn’t stopped fans and the pro wrestling media from speculating about the card for the first ‘Mania to take place outside of the United States, and specifically whether some big names can be lured out of retirement or away from their other pursuits to show up in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia next April for a match or angle. According to the man in charge of the who operation, WWE president Nick Khan, the company’s “best creative in pro wrestling” team has it all figured out. At least that’s how I’m interpreting Khan’s phrase “across the creative” into English from the former agent’s native bulls**t business-ese. He used it during his appearance on John Ourand’s The Varsity podcast: “It’s never been outside of the US or Canada. It’s going to be in Riyadh. It’s going to be a significant show.” “We’re already across the creative. Of course that’s subject to any injury… we’re already across the creative.” “And in addition to that, we announced two shows from the MSG Theater. WrestleMania Saturday will have a watchalong party followed by either NXT or AAA. And the next day, MSG Theater, a watchalong party, followed by either NXT or AAA, whichever one didn’t go on the Saturday night.” “So, we’re also going to do viewing parties and all of these things from the US and other countries.” “We think, ultimately, the fans will go home happy.” Do you agree with my interpretation?
