North Carolina defeats TCU in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic

TCU lost to North Carolina 15-10 at Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Saturday during the Aer Lingus College Football Classic. The Horned Frogs struggled offensively, failing to score for three consecutive quarters and committing 11 penalties for 100 yards. Quarterback Jaden Craig finished 20-of-32 for 175 yards and committed one turnover in his debut. Jeremy Payne provided a bright spot for TCU, rushing for 142 yards on 25 carries. Following the season-opening loss, the Horned Frogs will have two weeks of preparation before returning home to face Grambling on September 12 at Amon G. Carter Stadium.
