Washington football adopts Say Who, Say What as a fan pregame tradition

The University of Washington football program is expanding its long-standing "Say Who, Say What" chant from the tunnel to the stands at Husky Stadium. Originating in the 1970s, the player-led pregame ritual will now incorporate the marching band and an on-field emcee to lead the crowd. This change aims to heighten the environment at the venue, which holds a 21-4 record for the team over the last 25 games. Former players Lincoln Kennedy, Jake Locker, and Lawyer Milloy featured in a promotional announcement to signal the shift to supporters. The tradition will debut during the upcoming home schedule, which includes contests against the Apple Cup opponent, Minnesota, Iowa, Penn State, and Indiana. Head coach Jedd Fisch enters his third season leading the program as it seeks to maintain its status as a top home-field advantage in college football.
