Northwestern men's golf finishes ninth at the Folds of Honor Collegiate

Northwestern opened its 2026-27 men's golf season with a ninth-place finish at the Folds of Honor Collegiate held at American Dunes Golf Club. The team remained consistent throughout the three-day event, posting a 1-over score in each of the three rounds. First-year player Kuan Zhou led the team individually, tying for 14th place at 2-under par with rounds of 73, 67, and 71. Senior Jeremy Chen and Monty Holcombe both tied for 25th place at 1-over for the tournament. The field included several high-ranked programs such as Alabama, Georgia Tech, and Texas. The team will return to competition at the Olympia Fields Collegiate from September 18 to 20.
