Oak Grove defeats Hattiesburg behind strong defensive performance and Kellen Hall

Oak Grove secured a 36-20 victory over Hattiesburg on September 12 behind a dominant defensive effort and three touchdown passes from quarterback Kellen Hall. The Warriors’ defense held Hattiesburg to 287 yards of total offense and limited the rushing attack to 45 yards. Deven Robertson, a defensive lineman committed to Oklahoma, recorded one of the team's three sacks and helped anchor the front line. Hall completed 17-of-31 passes for 323 yards, connecting with Jakylynn Moody for a 71-yard score, Slade Gillentine for a 19-yard touchdown, and Kendrell Roberts for another. Oak Grove’s defense also forced two fumbles, including one returned 35 yards for a touchdown. The win moves Oak Grove to a 2-1 record on the season while Hattiesburg falls to 1-2.
