Oologah finishes undefeated to secure its own volleyball invitational championship

VolleyballOologah secured the championship title at its home invitational tournament this past weekend, completing a perfect 6-0 run. The Lady Mustangs navigated a schedule defined by high-intensity play, requiring a third set in five of their six match victories. The team overcame multiple challenges from Skiatook, defeating the Lady Bulldogs in three separate encounters, all by 2-1 scores. Isabella DeLaTorre earned tournament Offensive MVP honors for her 129 assists, while Sofie Jensen received Defensive MVP recognition after recording 58 digs. Other Rogers County teams also participated in the event, with Sequoyah finishing 3-2 and Verdigris recovering from an early slump to also conclude the tournament with a 3-2 record. Halle Barron and Adilynn McMahan were among the players named to the All-Tournament team.
