Palm Beach Central football secures Wellington Cup for tenth straight year

Palm Beach Central defeated Wellington 21-14 on September 10 to retain the Wellington Cup. The Broncos established a 21-0 lead behind two touchdown passes from Isaiah Hamilton to Logan Lindsey Hartwig and a touchdown run by Jamario Rawls. Wellington rallied with two touchdowns late in the game, but the Palm Beach Central defense held on to seal the victory. The Broncos forced five turnovers throughout the contest, including two first-half interceptions by Kai Sainmervil. This result keeps Palm Beach Central undefeated at 4-0 overall and 2-0 in District 13-6A. The Wellington Cup has remained with the Broncos every year since 2016.
