Pistons consider sign-and-trade involving Jalen Duren and Domantas Sabonis

The Detroit Pistons are entangled in trade discussions involving Jalen Duren and Sacramento Kings star Domantas Sabonis. Duren's contract negotiations have stalled, leading to reports that he prefers a move to Sacramento, where Sabonis is open to joining the Pistons. Mutual interest between the two players presents a potential blockbuster trade, though sources indicate Detroit remains committed to keeping Duren, a restricted free agent. The Pistons can match any offer due to their financial leverage, but mounting pressure exists as outside interest in Duren increases. The outcome hinges on negotiations surrounding Duren's contract demands, estimated at around $40 million annually.
