Plymouth Argyle defender Alex Hartridge faces month out with ankle injury

Plymouth Argyle defender Alex Hartridge is expected to miss one month of competition after suffering ligament damage to his ankle. The injury occurred during a late substitute appearance in the team's 3-2 victory over Doncaster Rovers this past Saturday. Hartridge, who joined the club on a free transfer this summer, had appeared in every League One fixture for Plymouth Argyle prior to the setback. Head coach Tom Cleverley stated the injury resulted from a contact challenge during the match.
