Quentin Pasley earns UFC contract after knockout victory at Contender Series

Quentin Pasley secured a UFC roster spot following a first-round knockout victory over Arlind Berisha at Dana White's Contender Series 91. The light heavyweight bout took place Tuesday at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas. Pasley ended the contest at the 4:41 mark of the opening round by landing a series of elbows from his guard that rendered his opponent unconscious. Following the victory, UFC CEO Dana White offered the undefeated prospect a promotional contract. Pasley, who trains under Nick Newell, moves to 4-0 as a professional. The event card also featured wins by Isaac Moreno, Martin Kozak, Apollo Gomes, and Christian Natividad.
